What is it?

FREESAT allows you to watch over 200 digital channels through a satellite dish with NO COMMITMENT and NO MONTHLY FEE. This package is ideal if you are unable to receive FREEVIEW through your aerial but do not want to pay a monthly subscription. FREESAT is available in 98% of the country.

What channels can I get?

Over 120 TV channels and 80 radio channels. These include BBCone, BBCtwo, BBCthree, BBCfour, BBC News 24, ITV1,ITV2, ITV3, ITV4, Channel 4, Channel 5, CBBC, CBEEBIES, Motor TV, Extreme Sports, Sports TV, Golf TV, SKY News, BBC Parliament and CNN.

How much will it cost?

There is a one-off installation fee of £150. This includes a satellite dish, FREESAT box, viewing card and standard installation. However, not every job is a standard installation and there could be further costs involved, in which case our engineers will always inform you of these before proceeding with the installation.

What if I decide I want more SKY channels?

The equipment is the same as a standard SKY box so you can upgrade to SKY digital at any time. You will need the box to be connected to a working telephone line as part of the SKY contract.

There is no need for you to call SKY. We can process all the necessary paperwork, order your SKY card and liaise with SKY on your behalf if you have any queries or difficulties.

If your home is a LISTED BUILDING or in a CONSERVATION AREA we can survey the property and advise on a discreet location for the satellite dish. This may involve installing the dish on an out building or in the garden or even spraying the dish to blend in with the brickwork. If you need to submit drawings to obtain planning permission we could prepare these for you.

All our work is carried out by our qualified engineers and is fully guaranteed for 12 months.

If you require advice on TV aerials, extra points, extending your SKY system, FM or DAB we can provide you with a fully Integrated Reception System (IRS). We are also able to provide a full design and quotation service.

Can I receive channels in other languages?

YES – There are a number of satellites which provide a wide range of programmes in a variety of languages. These include French, Italian, Spanish, Turkish, Polish, Chinese and many others.

If you require specific channels it is a good idea to identify which satellite broadcasts them. What Satellite Magazine is a good place to find the details or you can look on the Lyngsat website at www.lyngsat.com

We can advise you of what size satellite dish and which receiver would be suitable. We can carry out a site survey if necessary prior to installation.
